Reprocessing of the L3 TB polar products in progress

As mentionned in the news New L3 TB polar grid, correction of the geolocation shift, the version 331 of the L3 brightness temperatures on the polar projections presented a slight grid shift.

The concerned files are progressively being reprocessed and disseminated.

As of 26/06/2024, the current situation is:

  • reprocessed products RE08, processor version 333, are available for the period 01/2010-12/2016.
  • reprocessed products RE07, processor version 331, are available for the period 01/2017-05/2021. They are impacted by the grid shift.
  • operationnal products OPER, processor version 331, are available for the period 06/2021-12/2023. They are impacted by the grid shift.
  • operationnal products OPER, processor version 332, are available for the period 12/2023-03/2023. In these products, the grid shift is corrected, but there is a small metadata issue.
  • operationnal products OPER, processor version 333, are available for the period 04/2023-ongoing.

At the end, all the products will be available with processor version 333.
